When you, as a business, set your vision for the future, be it growth or raising the quality of offer, it is only achievable when your staff are following the same vision, which is why staff training is so important. We spend time with the management team to understand their needs in providing staff training, we will mystery shop the business so we can see first-hand what the team are doing well and what needs improving and where possible, we spend time with the individual staff members to understand where they would like to develop their skills and if they feel there are gaps in their knowledge. 
We will also provide one off generalised masterclasses and workshops for groups of organisations within a destination, where a specific area of development or understanding has been identified, normally this is based around customer care, marketing or sales. 

Who we have worked with

One of our clients, a restaurant, wanted to achieve 2 AA rosettes, they asked us to work with them, to develop their staff, to provide the high standard of customer service expected in a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. We started off by mystery shopping the restaurant on a busy Friday night, then we put in place an annual appraisal programme with 6 month review and bonus scheme for achieving targets. Following the mystery shop, the first appraisal meeting and the analysis of a number of review sites, a series of training workshops were put in place. These workshops were only 2 hours long and were run based on our client’s requirements. We also advised our client on workshops he could attend to improve his management and leadership skills along with the Head Chef. 
During the Covid lockdowns many tourism and hospitality businesses were forced to close, as an organisation we delivered a succession of webinars to offer guidance to businesses, steps to take to change their business model to hopefully generate an income and ways to make themselves attractive to visitors once they can open. Many of these webinars were done voluntarily, as we hoped to support businesses in what was a really hard time.
